@scribblemacher Ah, I think becoming an exploding bomb also made its way into Kirby Deluxe/Superstar on the SFC/SNES. (It is a hecking fun game btw. Or, uh, games.) It is completely unclear to me how it is that Kirby survives blowing itself up...
I think I never gave Amazing Mirror a good look. Maps aside, are you enjoying it?

@nazokiyoubinbou I think so. It plays more like Kirby's Adventure than Super Star, which I don't mind. The level layouts are fun in general and thrbin-game map is fine--if you have it. If you don't have the map for the area you are in, it is kind of useless. It does have a feature where doors the player hasn't gone through have a glowing star above them. So even if you just wander and have no idea where to go (like me) you still end up finding interesting stuff and beating bosses.
