@phil55494 @JimmyB after trying for some years I think I'm giving up on overwintering chillies now. It's just not warm enough here in Norfolk to do it reliably (esp if you don't really heat your home I guess). Whilst it does kinda work 50% of the time, I find the plants are slow to re-establish and sometimes my overwintered plants simply don't even seem to want to fruit the next year. I could probably be looking after them better. OTOH why put more effort into looking after them when simply growing new plants seems to much easier. I had hoped this would be a way for me to get more reliable superhot crops, but the superhots tend to fare the worst when I try. Much more luck with things like piri piri and jalapeno plants.
