PSA: the City of Toronto is accepting applications for this year's Air Conditioner Assistance program for low-income seniors & new families! If you are low-income, and a) 65+ and have a medical reason, or b) are pregnant or have an infant under 1 year old, you can apply to get a portable air conditioner! Details at the link. If you know someone who could use this, pass it on. If you like the idea and/or want to see the program expanded, email your councillor/the mayor and tell them. Heck, email even if you're not even from Toronto. These things can make a difference. #toronto
