RE: https://mastodon.social/@lapcatsoftware/116417392268951070 Apple already provides a Setting (Apps > App Store > In-App Ratings & Reviews), that no one knows about, to globally disable review prompts…they just need to put a “Don’t Ask For Reviews” button in the review prompts so users can disable them. But, additionally, rating inertia is a bit problem with the star system. Too many apps that earned a good rating 10 years ago are still top of a category even though they been sold to PE and gone to crap, making it harder for new entrants to have a chance
