@Aaron_Davis@toot.cat yeah activity pub stuff is slightly more resilient because there are a lot more full self-contained instances whereas AL Protocol is basically just bluesky at this point (yes I'm aware that there are other people trying to run full stack blue sky but they are a rounding error at this point whereas there are other legitimately big instances other than mastodon.social and a whole lot more small ones)
