On my way to the office tonight, I stopped at the Phoenix park on the DM33/DM43 line to work a nice SO-50 pass around 0230 UTC. Worked stations from Alaska to Mexico City, along with a couple CONUS stations and one from western Canada in between. Still had some light as I set up for the pass, but it was dark during the pass. Still fun!

Near the end of the pass, someone in the park started shining a green laser at me and my radio. Caught a couple of screengrabs from my video, showing the green laser first hitting the ID-5100's heat sink, followed by the connector for the coax cable connected to the radio.
