@element@mastodon.matrix.org forcing people off of signal is pretty stupid and I can see how that is at least part of the idea. having control who you can talk to is a rocksolid weapon of war. So while I'm still using matrix and am pretty positive about recommending it. I would be a little more critical if I were you. This pro imperialist government stance is not going to go over well for you.

Will be Element, FluffyChat and other alternative platforms ready to stand in massive attack and fix potential security incidents soon enough compare with @signalapp@mastodon.world ? I am just openly thinking about it..
