I really want to like alot of FSF distros, but honestly alot of them are pretty dead, some even straight up unusuable, and I don't mean in that I don't have the devices or anything to match the hardware that some of them require such as an alternative wifi-card with libre drivers and whatnot but they're just dead... like, practically no longer actively maintained. It's quite a shame really, but the only one that I have used fairly regularly on my T60 has been Trisquel, but I'm not a big fan of the Ubuntu-based distros, as much as it is the most usuable one I tried Parabola a while ago and last week I installed it again to give it another shot but genuinely you can't even get the majority of desktop enviroments on them except LXDE or maybe GNOME, Mate even seems just entirely broken! I think the project has been given up on... They're always going to be nicher, and I accept that, but where's the support? I know it's a bit hypocritical of me saying that, why don't I support it? But surely there's got to be people out there who want to, right?
