@deliaturner I wonder why people take the class of someone with so poor an attitude. I'm wonderfully fortunate to be taking a class from a 26 yo MFA sme, an encouraging enthusiast. While I'm the only geezer in the class, we're learning together and from each other. This poetry class is one of the most positive experiences I'm having currently. Last semester, I took two classes: one in the history dept, one in the dance dept. Again a kind enthusiast, a grad dance TA, taught the one class, movement integration: the student body consisted of one gimpy 75 yo man and a bunch of mostly 19 yo women who'd been training for their athletic career for years and years. The history prof, unfortunately, had problems teaching his subject: I withdrew after weeks and weeks. We don't have to stick around!
