Anyway, the cookies are going down well at work (not the "special" ones, they're for home only, lol... just the hippos for work.)
All in all not bad for about 5 hours from starting with some line art to ending with some baked cookies. The slowest part was remembering how to CAD. I was surprised how well the printer behaved with the PETG that the first two prints I did were usable...
Though one started to come apart. The 240C isn't enough for this filament, I need to use one of the higher temp nozzles and bump that up a bit for better layer adhesion. Also I think the single thickness cutter wall is overkill-think and a double-thick wall is probably the way to go. Looking at the phallic cutter I made last year this seems to have been what I decided on back then too. (In lieu of finding my notes from back then I ought to have checked the cutters I had printed really.)
It probably helped that I conceived the idea first thing in the morning, so the PETG got 10 hours in the dehydrator.
