@screwturn @CStamp look up the recent archeological news on DNA testing of samurai. If I remember correctly: half the samurai were women.
If research focusses on known stuff almost always assumptions/known facts change 🤓

@Frieke72 @screwturn Yep. Bias of archeologists has played a part in this. Ancient graves of women buried with weapons have been looked at again because the men who had found them had given explanations other than the women had actually used them. Women warriors was something the male archeologists hadn’t considered.
