@rubdos@mastodon.social Nice article, looking for the next ones. Perhaps my biggest concern with Sailfish is that it isn't entirely OSS. I also wonder whether higher level languages work on it, like dotnet and kotlin, I really need to spin up the emulator some day.

@rubdos@mastodon.social Great to see your post and IMHO Whisperfish is one of the most important apps for Sailfish. I will have two Jolla phones, I really want to see the project and community thrive. This comment is not a complaint but a highlight the importance of good quality native apps that can be trusted, like Whisperfish. The weakest part of the Jolla/Sailfish experience is still be availability of key native apps and a trust in the app security.
