Tucker Carlson (apparently): "America's new civic religion is Israelism, Christianity without the New Testament, and it is the most unforgiving faith of all."
People posting this are saying "look its antisemitic!" and yeah of course. But what's more interesting to me is that it's the most unforgiving of people like Tucker Carlson.

When I went looking for the most basic source of what we consider to be social justice ideas I found the Book of Amos. Absolutely harsh about people who think that their country is great as their country is oppressing the poor. Harsh as in G-d is going to destroy the whole country because of this harsh. (Amos didn't think that the wealthy were going to be destroyed specifically. He said the disaster was going to be a disaster for everyone.)
