they finally admitted ipv6 is a mess and dropped ipv8 ✨✨

@nicole4fox Wasn't IPv6 also supposed to be a superset of IPv4? Or was it just the address space?

@nicole4fox i'm a bit worried that there is *no* consideration for how existing ipv6 rollouts can fit into this scheme and that operators might be unwilling to abandon the future-proofing upgrades ipv8 is now positioning as dead ends
