@readeck Looks great! I can see how the highlighted text included with the note on the sidebar can be very useful when highlighting intentionally. The ‘transparent’ approach is pretty much what I had in mind although I wonder if it would still be better to simply use a circle-with-diagonal-line icon instead of the page colour which might be misleading for someone who wasn’t privy to the thought process behind unusual transparent highlights (!) But I really like how it’s all coming together!
