Over the last two months on Itch, I've had more than 14 days of the same number of downloads of the same game.. all 4, all My Nuclear Octopus downloads. It's not a free game, but it was in a couple of charity bundles over the last few years so yeah maybe people from the bundles are downloading it.. but it seems pretty strange that there are so many days where it's exactly 4 downloads, don't you think? I don't understand it. It weirds me out. Why 4? Why so many 4s?

@psychicparrot42@mastodon.gamedev.place I've been getting exactly 6 downloads on one of my Itch games ever since entering it into a couple charity bundles So at least you're not alone in going "huh, why would that be happening"

@psychicparrot42 Are you getting any payments for the downloads? I would guess it's because of a bundle or some weird piracy thing if no payments and downloads on a non-free game. Edit: Also 4 is a weird consistent number.
