Some here in the #Running Bubble may know Frank (@DerEntspannende). At the end of 2024, he narrowly escaped one of the most vicious cancer tumors. Following surgery & chemotherapy, he recovered & today completed his first #halfmarathon since his illness, achieving all his set goals. For every minute he finished under 3 hours, he's donating 2€ to the Cancer Society Rhineland-Palatinate.
People like Frank are my role models. Fate handed him lemons, and he made sweet lemonade out of them.

@my_millennium@nrw.social Thank you so much! I have decided to increase the amount per minute from €2 to €4. With a total running time of 2 hours and 26 minutes, that comes to 4 × 34 = €136. I will transfer the donation tomorrow.
