I find it interesting that the non-technical people have been replying to their rejection emails with "thanks for the opportunity" etc. But very few of the programmers are.
I wonder if there's an etiquette difference, or age perhaps?

@doctormo As a dev looking for a goddamn entry level job I gotta say that the 98% of rejections with absolutely no explanation, or even an AI disclaimer that no human had any part in this, have made me so bitter, a nicer worded rejection wouldnt get a second glimpse rn.

@doctormo interesting, despite the disappointment and bitterness, I always try to respond but unfortunately 99,9% are automated no-reply email accounts, specially during the first stage of the process (CV filtering and HR first interview) which I somehow understand 🫤
