I still have the turned taqueté towels on the loom, but I am figuring out the math on the next project. I was given multiple colors of the mystery thick wool yarn on the left years ago but didn’t really know what to do with it. I’m going to use it with Harrisville Shetland (on the right) in an integrated plain weave structure to show it off. 1/

Improvising a cone winder, I wound these janky cones to hopefully make them easier to warp from. 🤞Never having worked with either of these yarns, I couldn’t really figure out the ends per inch, so I made myself a couple of cardboard looms, one at 6 EPI and the other at 8 EPI. I’ll make myself decision after I wash the samples. I’ll sample again once it’s on the loom to make sure the sett is good. 2/
