To install python modules on windows that have a component written in C or C++ you need to have MSVC C++ Build Tools installed. In order to run the installer for MSVC C++ Build Tools you need Dot Net 4.6. But Dot Net 4.6 won't installing in this Win 10 VM for *reasons*.
I may be done computing for the day.

Decided to try downloading the whole visual studio installer and I just can't. The website is so broken in this version of edge that the download doesn't work. When your own fucking website is broken in your own fucking browser? yeah it's a little old but come on.
