As a teenager, it was always exciting when a friend bought their first car and came to show it off. (Second only to when I actually bought my first car and showed it off!). As an adult, new cars get less and less exciting. ("It's just like my previous one, except black instead of grey") However, an elderly friend has just got their first mobility scooter. And I have to admit, that's a bit exciting!
