What with all this #Wayland goodness arriving on #OpenBSD allowing me to run the likes of #MangoWM and all those amazing devs who are putting together OpenBSD 7.9 it certainly does feel like "The year of the OpenBSD desktop" to me. I'm living my best life on my computers right now. :openbsd: :runbsd:

@justine How easy is it to install and set up openBSD? I'm ex windows, currently running Mint 22.2, and got too fried a brain for major complications. Will it run ok in a Virtualbox VM to play with ? I'm just curious what it's like. 🙂🤗

@justine Yeah honestly like, I'm all for X11 to still be relevant and such because it's a technology that works, but I stirred hard into Wayland for personal reasons and it being a small kernel + coming with its tiny ecosystem I definitely see myself be more radical on the base I use it on, as a Linux user. Especially BSDs :)
