(basically an idea i have since i learned almost all trams in france run on 1435mm gauge)

@elsactivitypub @darkphoenix fun fact: all trams in vienna run on 1435mm gauge too. if not for the voltage, tighter turns, and smaller extent of the routes, different signaling, and I think the rail profile might be different, you could absolutely put a railjet on the tram network …I genuinely think it might be possible to put a siemens desiro classic (diesel, and a generally small and short train) on tram tracks, as long as you can turn off signaling
