This would be incredible. I could imagine those machines shipping with a custom operating system, ideally not built with any "AI" slop. Perhaps forked from UNIX or the Linux kernel before Torvalds starting using the slop machines? Or maybe some people will be so fed up they decide to design something all their own?
This could be maintained by people who hate Microslop and other companies going hard on "AI" this anarchist OS company could be a collective of people who are disaffected by the evil of Silicon Valley.
I think what you have here is a supremely good idea!

@sauc3 It wouldn't be a company. Anarchists have various words from various tendencies for this kind of thing, like "syndicate", "commune", "collective", or "spokescouncil".
