@dfgomes@mastodon.social yeah, Micro.blog is a really good service. I used it myself for a while.
I do think the perception that WordPress in inherently insecure is unfair though. Core WP is actually very secure - they have a really talented security team over there. It's the plugin ecosystem that add the vulnerabilities usually.

@kev@fosstodon.org @dfgomes@mastodon.social I still believe in WordPress but this issue is horrible. I had a theme inject a bunch of crap into my installation in 2011 and it took me forever to fix. I learned then to stick with themes from Automattic. Never was a heavy plugin user since my blog was dirt simple. Things like npm have similar problems. It’s sad that something intended to be so open is taken advantage of by the worst people. 😔
