The wife's work was throwing out a defective bluetooth barcode scanner. It wouldn't charge. (USB-C). She brought it home (with permission) to see if maybe I wanted to try to fix it. After cleaning the dust and lint out of the USB connector and replacing the battery, it works again. I think I'll be adding it to my toolbox for when I'm working on things that need to be inventoried.
