Is Lightyear still the best live #punk band in the UK? Who cares, that's stupid question, there is no best, but fuck me are they wonderful live. The level of fun of a Lightyear gig is hard to match, and while they don't care whatsoever about being "pro" and other music industry trappings, they are musically excellent and the songs have aged really well. I mean, not that many #ska bands have songs that start in 5/4 or complete genre shifts in a single song, while being super catchy.
