Hey tech dorks, do you think the book "The Innovator's Dilemma" actually changed how companies respond? Like, I've been surprised how much the megacap companies are pouring into Ai, when at least in principle it should damage core business (e.g. buy eating search)

@zachweinersmith.bsky.social I’ve been amused by the way Meta gives away its research for free, open source. They won’t win the race, but they’re limiting how much profit anyone else can make.
