@atpfm@mastodon.social pricing psychology is fascinating! charging extra for a monitor stand is egregious, but not charging less for no stand is also egregious. If there's a discount for no stand isn't that essentially the same thing as charging extra for a stand?

@atpfm@mastodon.social @siracusa@mastodon.social your Mac Studio plan will work. I have an M1 Ultra Mac Studio and it's still so fast I don't notice any problems. I do audio stuff on an M4 Mac mini, and I do notice it's a little faster sometimes, but not usually.

@atpfm@mastodon.social @marcoarment@mastodon.social the adaptors for USB-A to USB-C work really well. I got to know them because they shipped them with Google Pixel phones. They don't come unstuck.
