For me, the way I power it varies each time I use it. Often I have the top removed, which means I can use the barrel jack on the side. (I have considered cutting the case for access to this, but that seems a bit harsh.
Sometimes I power it from an FTDI cable going to a PC through the open back of the case.
I currently have the rear panel kit (https://z80kits.com/shop/blue-box-rear-panel-kit-110x250x190/) fitted, along with a barrel jack port cover going to the FTDI pins on the Orton 3C.
None of those are the ideal solution, but they're adequate in their own way.
