Next job was to glue the edges of the inner panels to the outer cover. Because space was tight due to the leather only just being large enough, I only had about a 4mm edge to glue.
Then I used some pricking irons to mark out the stitch holes before using saddle stitch to sew them together. The sewing alone took almost 2 hours.

With the cover all stitched together it was a relief to find that the notebook actually fitted inside! The interlocking pen loop works really well too. (I need a slightly shorter pen though). The edges still aren't finished. They need neatening up, bevelling, and treating. I'm still waiting for some dye to finish them. So, whilst this post is 4/5, the 5th post won't be for a few more days yet.
