Having been registered on the HMRC website for years and years and dutifully completing tax returns etc, I now need to register for MTD on the HMRC website using my HMRC login. And suddenly HMRC need photo id?! After 36 years of completing tax returns (both the old paper ones and online) suddenly they need to see my face? Bah! *waves hand around in frustration*
