I did my little walk, but in the opposite direction - along to Bargain Buys, via the Pound+ shop, then across to check the hardware shop. No luck in any of them - I was after larger garden kneelers. I just need something about an inch thick to put by the bed to help me get *in* (out is no problem!), and was thinking one kneeler, or two stacked, would be enough. But Bargain Buys only had narrow ones, and only 1cm thick. I'll find something else, I expect.
