Word of the day: LARWM https://geiriadur.ac.uk/gpc/gpc.html?larwm was borrowed from the English ‘alarm’ in the Middle Ages. That in turn came from French ‘à l’arme’ or Italian ‘all’arme’ – both originating as cries to battle: ‘to arms!’ Rising at the command of the CLOC LARWM often feels like that!
