Well, that was a weekend. Wrote most of an essay on Saturday, with just break to go to a panel discussion on a new opera I'm going to see in a couple weeks. Sunday, went to the baseball game, stopped for dinner with my nephew on the way home, then finished the essay when I got back. We lost the baseball game but dinner was good and I think the essay is too. The. deadline was tomorrow, and I handed it in tonight, so for good or ill it is done. Will probably run on Wednesday. It may not be an important essay, but the topic--what we are losing now that the Pennsylvania Council for the Arts has rebranded as Pennsylvania Creative Industries and gotten rid of all the grants for tiny arts orgs. Ugh~
