Just got a "spare" used thinkpad, a t470 for a change (I'm really a 15.6 guy but i threw caution to the winds) I use 2.5" ssds to swap in/out when I get a "new" puter, but i didn't think to check with the supplier & this one has a NVME. I *think* you can swap in a 2.5 but I'm not 100% sure. Booted a usb & there's some annoying little niggles (ctl-q won't work? Wtf?). that trackpad faux click arrangement is fucking horrible. Sigh. Probably have to go back. I hate modern (2017) computers.
