I was expecting more from Bloomberg. First of all, if the pandemic is over why do the sequeala cost money? So by definition the pandemic is not over, in which case we should ask the real questions : who made the decision to spend these 135B per year by not ending the pandemic and what the counterfactual , alternative futures are and how much would they cost?
The combined GDP of the OECD countries is around 65T , so 135B is 0.2% of the sector's GDP
