humanity IS NOT monolithic. We are not wired the same, we are diverse in our shapes, sizes, colors, trait tendencies, personal experiences, how those intersect with our cultural environments, etc. Sweeping generalizations about "how people respond" and saying that "people" respond only to threats is…not helpful. AUTHORITARIANS respond to threats. Normies don't. Normies also do not intentionally -hoard- obscene amounts of wealth, causing people to suffer for their own gains. It matters
