I tend to follow this logic. I wouldn't accuse Bukele of bad faith, but how does one explain the fact that he was allowed to come to power? Typically any "good" leader gets assassinated long before he gets to the point that Bukele has gotten...
Perhaps the SV gangs were becoming a huge problem for Trump and so he personally backed a plan to install a president who would destroy them...
