Somehow I had never really noticed this before, but British letters have your address top right and the destination address under and left aligned, because the "window" in a window envelope is bottom left. In France it's the opposite! You put your address first, but ranged left, and the destination address under and ranged *right*, because the window is bottom right on a French envelope.
