I&#39;m still really super impressed with my son&#39;s MacBook Neo. I think for the majority of people, it&#39;s all the laptop that they would need. He&#39;s using it for homework, consuming content, and even some gaming... most recently, Euro Truck Sim 2. #Apple #MacBookNeo

@andycarolan@social.lol Were it not for the direction of the OS, which is increasingly incompatible with the amount of control I want over my own, personal machines, I would be very tempted by the hardware. It seems like a very good deal, and I think they are going to sell utterly absurd amounts of it. Whimsy, performance, build quality and a reasonable price. It’s a killer combo for the market.

@andycarolan@social.lol I knew the Neo would be a smash hit but I didn’t expect Apple to be- allegedly- at the “oh no we’re running out of binned chips to put in these things” stage of popular. I loved the old teeny 11” MacBook Air and a real entry level MacBook has been far, far too long coming.
