@liw hi Lars, it seems the Finnish parliament is discussing its local implementation of the CRA: https://www.eduskunta.fi/SV/vaski/HallituksenEsitys/Sidor/RP_179+2025.aspx Notably, it appears fines are proposed for Open Source Stewards, where the CRA specifically exempted them. This raises two questions: 1) what past traumatic event may be the cause of this idea? 2) how would this not be in conflict with the CRA. Any chance you have (local friends that have) interest in the intersection of FOSS and politics and could shine a light?
