When I first moved to Japan, I used to try as many "unknown" (to me) soft drinks I could get my hands on, and then report on whatever social media I used at the time. I haven't done it in years, but yesterday at the supermarket, one drink grabbed my attention. Mostly the "É" in the name.
Verdict: imagine a bitter Aquarius, kinda like Schweppes but not carbonated. Not great, but not terrible either.

@David I drank a lot of Aquarius in Japan. A fair bit of Asahi too, to be fair, but many litres of Aquarius to battle the heat. Can't get it here, just Pocari Sweat, which is almost as good.
