@RayuDW@meow.social I know this is a VERY late reply, but I admit, as someone suffering with both autism and ADHD, it feels like both are consipiring against me to prevent me from doing anything "essential". Sadly, it is becoming a giganitc issue at my workplace, and they keep punishing me, which only worsens my mood. By contrast, when it comes to passion projects like my art and worldbuilding, I could be absorbed into those for hours happily...

@RayuDW@meow.social the worst bit?... sometimes it's doing the dishes that is the thing your brain decides it wants to hyperfocus on, and the thing you WANT TO ENJOY it decides "NO ENJOYMENT, ONLY DISHES" and then you run out of dishes and you enter this fugue state where NOTHING brings joy and hghhghrrhhgfffuuuUUUUCK
