Last night after watching the Artemis II crew splashdown, I explained to our son that we used to be able to land our shuttle like an airplane. The whole "I Dream of Jeannie" splashdown process feels so retro for this Gen X-er. 🚀

@pabloniusmonk And then the astronauts have to piss around in rubber dinghies, they don't even hoist the capsule onto a ship as is done with Dragon.
