@JustinMac84 as a sighted person, I find it sometimes difficult to focus and see that I'm connecting the right pins and the quality of soldering is proper. It doesn't sound feasible for a blind person. If you like to experiment with electronics, there are prototyping boards that don't need soldering. Also, quite a lot of hackable readymade stuff.
