  Hi. Any blind people have audio described versions of the 1999 film version of Animal Farm and the one that comes after that? I have the 1954 version. If not, undescribed audio would be fine. Thanks for any help or boosts.

  RE: https://hachyderm.io/@akareilly/116829183413209432 the position of getting so worked up about glasses with cameras seems quite ridiculous to me when there are all these ring door bells snapping everyone wherever they go; parking cameras on cars can be abused; and we have had smart phones for what, like 16 years now, and any one of them could be recording you without permission or taking photographs etc. Why get so worked up about the glasses in particular?

  Received an email from Open Britain claiming that Reform UK is cold calling people to ask them to run as election candidates for them. Full disclosure, because I don't believe this will actually happen, if Reform UK call me up, I'm saying yes and running for them to sabotage their chances. Nigel Farage basically admitted there's no vetting. He won't invite me now of course, but wouldn't it be a shame if someone stole my idea and ran with it?

  After having watched the publicity event between the crew of Artimis II and the Canadian Prime Minister, I had to go back and watch the publicity appearance with Trump. The tones are so different. The relaxed, hopeful tone, the friendly informality of the interview tonight versus the self-agrandising, formal tone with Trump.

  I overheard someone talking about me the other day, criticising me for something I did three or four years ago. The rights and wrongs of the thing don't matter. I just think it's a shame that we hold onto and continue to bring up things about people we perceive as negative, while positives either go unnoticed or are far more quickly forgotten, especially as it was a minor thing in the grand scheme of things.

  Do any blind people have experience making videos for channels? I'm thinking of videoing myself reading or creating audio of me reading stories over which I would super-impose visuals. Obviously, being blind, videography isn't my strong point and I would greatly appreciate pointers to any resources that might exist or guidance from anyone happy to share. Thanks for any help.

  Just so disabled people in the UK know, if Reform UK get in, they would repeal the Equality Act, describing it as divisive and a political fashion statement. If you aren't interested in politics, it's worth bearing in mind that politics is interested in you - the immigrant carers that help you, your benefits, your access to work, your right to live free from discrimination, companies' obligations for accessibility, Uber's obligation to take guide dogs.
