The end elevation of a large and interesting building on Wharf Street near Sheffield canal basin. It is called Sheaf Works and was built in 1823. It was originally William Graves cutlery works. This is the end of the building where raw materials would have been unloaded and finished goods put onto canal barges for distribution. The building has been used as offices and part of it was briefly the Sheaf Quay pub. Photographed yesterday, April 9th. #FensterFreitag #canals #sheffield #architecture
