My friend is worried about the 3D model community they used to rely on for game and other projects being flooded with poorly made genAI assets, and they sent me a picture of a static human model that had one breast, two arms blending together into one hand, and three legs (two stacked on top of each other on one side) 🤔 I don't go there myself, but I can imagine how annoying and time-consuming it is to have to check for generative horrors when you're looking for something useful, especially how with generative things they can post I guess a dozen things like this per day. (So I suppose the question becomes, will it be easier and better for them in the end to just model all their assets by themselves?)
