Oh jeez, tonight at book club I referred to a character as someone's “natural" son. Some of the folks weren't 100% sure what that meant. Reading Victorian novels comes back to bit me again. In my defense, “natural son" popped in my mind before “illegitiment son" did. Again, not sure what that says about my vocabulary…
